Senator, just wanted to say I’m so happy for the “not guilty” verdict. I know you and the Colonel can get back to normal lives now that this is over. I’m sure it has been a toll taker on your health but you will bounce back. You have many friends supporting you. Hang in there and keep doing the outstanding job that you do. God Bless,
Jerald H. Dilge Command Sergeant Major 304th Battalion Alabama State Defense Force
FIRST LET ME SAY CONGRATS ON THE VERDICT. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GOVERNMENT ABUSE. THAT BEING SAID, I HOPE YOU WILL CONTINUE TO WORK FOR THE RIGHT TO VOTE IN THIS STATE. I WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER WALK INTO A BINGO HALL, DOG TRACK OR BUY A LOTTERY TICKET. BUT IT IS MY OPINION I SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE MY VOICE HEARD. THANK YOU FOR WORKING SO HARD FOR THE PEOPLE ON THIS AREA. YOU HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB, AND I KNOW YOU WILL CONTINUE TO DO THE SAME.
as far as i’m concerned about that worthless waste of taxpayer money, someone tried to simply say we don’t have a right to vote on any form of gambling. we just got lucky back in the 1990s when we did have a vote on the lottery that failed; simply because the powerful holier than thous in this state made it work for them. just look at the funding situation with medicaid, mental health and public safety, no wonder we can’t provide sopecial services for those 3000 or so names on a state waiting list. now they want to shut down sheltered workshop employment programs; thus creating a bigger problem. i just happen to be in one of them that makes stakes and hubs for various industries throughout the wiregrass.
thanks a lot for your support in the past, and we hope for your support in the future.
